The Commission on Human Relations receives, investigates, and rules on discrimination complaints filed under the Chicago Human Rights Ordinance and Chicago Fair Housing Ordinance.  The types of discrimination include issues related to housing, employment, public accommodations, and credit.

Consumer Fraud
Business Affairs and Consumer Protection is the Department in Chicago tasked with investigating and enforcing consumer fraud laws in the City of Chicago. If you feel you have been defrauded by a company you can file a complaint with BACP online here or through Chicago’s 311 system.
