What: 5K Fundraiser to Raise Awareness about Gender-Based Violence as a Human Rights Violation and Public Health Concern

Join Apna Ghar for one of its signature fundraising events. Athletes, activists, and supporters committed to raising awareness about gender-based violence as an insidious human rights violation and public health concern for a 5K at Montrose Harbor. The event is open to people of all ages and abilities and held on a USTAF certified course.
Bollywood Groove will lead the warm-up while the Chicago Spirit Brigade cheers participants on. The Jesse White Tumblers will perform and Alderman James Cappleman and Alderman Harry Osterman will present awards to the top participants. The event includes food and drink, children’s activities, music, festivities, and a raffle.
Online registration closes Saturday, October 5 at 10:00AM, and Race Day Registration will open on 8:00AM Sunday, October 6
